Starbucks buys Seattle's Best

Starbucks buys Seattle's BestBad coffee buys a fair coffee results in more bad coffee IMO. Great control of liquids however. Profits there are in the 600% range. Nice. Should open the doors for PEET"S, BOYD'S and in Canada CANTERBURY, ORGANIC ORIGINS, GAPPANNA ESTATES, and other great coffee producers in North America. Starbucks leads the way regardless in expanding coffee education to the Coffee Culture. Once attracted and the consumer can get through the Robusts Caffeine jolt of burned beans they will look around for premium quality bean and roasts. After all Coffee was originally introduced into Europe as a medicinal brew once carried only in Apothocary's. PEET with it's upper end distribution through upper end organic and quality food markets makes good sense. As to price?? Well as in everything else. You get what you pay for.
