Pennant Energy Inc. has engaged Investor Cubed Inc. of Toronto, Ont., toprovide investor relations on behalf of the company pursuant to aone-year contract. Alan Huycke and Neil Simon, the principals ofInvestor Cubed, are investor relations specialists. InvestorCubed provides specialized investor relations and business consultingservices to a select group ofleading Canadian small-capital companies. Its combined extensiveindustry experience has enabled it to develop a national network offinancial professionals that is vital its business model. Consequently,Investor Cubed views its small-capital clients as partners in creatingvalue not only for its shareholders, but alsofor the financial industry professionals.

Investor Cubed is also a partner and co-manager of the SmallCapPower website (SCP). SCP isCanada's first website dedicated to tracking stocks with market caps from $5 to $500-million. It hascomprehensive investment materials and dynamic functionality that joins investors and financial industryprofessionals to discover and communicate with small-capital companies.

Compensation to Investor Cubed will be $5,000 per month. The company has also agreed to grant anoption to purchase 200,000 common shares, exercisable at the price of 18 cents per share for one year. Thestock option to be granted will be in accordance with the company's stock option plan, will have therequired four-month hold period legend pursuant to the TSX Venture Exchange and will have vestingprovisions attached.

Mr. Huycke and Mr. Simon, the principals of Investor Cubed, report that they own no securities of thecompany.
