RE: PLI NR on MIllipore

RE: PLI NR on MIllipore

I did the same thing Bepando and already heard back from IR..

this deal was definitely NOT included in the $35mm news release from earlier in the week.  This is an entirely new deal.   I also clarified,  this $19mm is actually GUARANTEED minimum licensing / commission revenue as part of Millipores exclusive rights to the product.  If they sell more,  the numbers go up pro-rata

Given the size of Millipore,  you have to assume that  they wouldnt enter into a deal like this,  where they are guaranteeing minimum payments,   unless they expected it to be a success.   I imagine they would put the minimums well below what they think are the appropriate attainable levels...   Would be great if we got an underpromise / overdelivery for once wouldnt it !?

I agree Kev that its again a little disappointing that there isnt a big up front number associated with this deal....  but I dont think it would be typical in this type of deal either.  I like the guaranteed component,  I like the magnitude and credibility of the partner,  and I really like the endorsement and adoption of another novel PLI technology by a reputed industry leader.
