RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Executive Shake upAfter sleeping on this, I can find 3 good reasons for the creation of a COO: 1. PLI is becoming larger and more complex, making it more difficult for one person alone to have total oversight over the whole organization. 2.Not that they are preparing the CEO succession, but in any events, if anything happens PLI won't be caught the pants down, and they will have somebody ready to assume the functions. This role can be used as a retention mechanism for key executives that are at risk for moving to a competitor
