RE:one day soon. The chatter re news between CC and AGM as PL teased us with is interesting. I hope PL is not back to his past behaviour of getting expectations up only to disappoint with under delivering. I believed he had turned the page on that thinking. But he is ever the optimist. As others pointed out, PL sounded very confident on the last CC.
All that said, PLI news can be grouped as follows:
Trial results- PLI does not really control when that news can be released so I doubt we will see anything on that front in the next 4 weeks.
FDA et al approvals- again PLI does not control that news so again I doubt we will see anything in that regard over the next 4 weeks.
Transaction with cash etc- while PLI controls to some extent that type of event, PLI would be foolish to bake that kind of event into our expectations over the next 4 weeks.
New drug indications- this is the likely news to come in the new 4 weeks. That said, I am not sure the market will bid up the stock in a meaningful way since $$$ from that news is years down the road.
I would welcome others perspective on news flow in the next month.
Hoping I am wrong with my thinking but when I connect insider buying with the type of news to come, I would be stunned if there was a blockbuster event coming before May 11.
The street is still is a " show me mode" for this stock and until we see revenue or partnering with meaningful upfront cash and recurring royalties, institutional money, which we need to move us higher, will remain on the sidelines.
