RE: BHP - 7% Back InI think that the market is going to punish PGD in the short term if BHP doesn't opt in. It will likely be interpreted as a lack of confidence.
On the other hand, for the true believers I think that it will be a net benefit to PGD if they don't opt in. The only question is if your investment time horizon is long enough to see those benefits realized.
