RE:RE:Valuations, etc.
RE:RE:Valuations, etc. There are lot of studies out there. I know int he underground realm, the operating cost are between $100 and $140 per tonne and that is usually gold (I assume more $$'s on the processing).
So, open pit is going to be less then CAD$100 guaranteed.
Then it becomes a function of strip ratio..and like you say...Lake possible involvement.
Some waste handling (pre stripping) will be included in Capital and not in operating...but some will be included in the operations as well.
In a lot of my calculations, I've been using CAD$100 just because I know that is ultra conservative...but I know it is also not realistic.
Simple answer is look at the same MPV presentation. They use US$65 per tonne for operating cost....so it is going to be somewhere between US$60 to US$70 in the end.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm getting a lot of hits on the PDAC and Diamonds article..so hopefully we can get some investors who don't know about Chidliak yet...to poke around the site.
LONG...PGD
