RE:Sunday Morning Ramblings.

RE:Sunday Morning Ramblings. The board will return to a good one if the SP improves somewhat dramatically in the near future with less and less confrontational language and a willingness to exchange and answer questions asked of each other and the glass moves above half empty a little.  No forum is perfect just like real life, it's not all lolly pops and roses. People argue and just like in real life, when one clams up, it makes it worse, not better. Avoiding critisism coming your way, just invites more, IMHO.

Sarcasim, something flying around here a lot these days, can be misconstrued in normal face to face conversation and is multiplied dramatically in an on line situation as we have here and shown to be detrimental to open discussion.  Some choose to not partake and some do so with what seems to be their right to do so without being challenged for clarification, by refusing to answer, thus leading to the deterioration we see now as a result.

I guess the old adage, if you can't stand the heat, well you know the rest.

We have what I would call a few experts that post here on a regular basis that provide good technical and or financial reporting that seems to be their area of knowledge and are also usually the ones who stay away from the other goings on here.  But, most will respond when asked for clarification or even challenged because they know they might be off a little with their opinions/calculations/belief and are open to knowledge coming their way as being useful to the process, thus they become experts willing to educate and be educated.

Some just want to be right.

Ah, enuff Sunday ramblings...time for coffee. GLTM
