DDC to BUY PGD?
DDC to BUY PGD?Let me clarify my DD on DDC buying PGD.I spoke to a well connected top diamond GEO in Canada on the possibility DDC would need PGD because DDC needs to fill its Diavik inventory after the A-21 pipe is mined out. With such long lead times from discovery to production of 15 yrs on average DDC does not have that kind of mine life time frame at diavik even if the JAY pipe extends Ekati. So it would be logical to dove tail the Chidliak mine open with the close of Diavik.
We both agreed PGD would be a good fit for DDC
I contacted DDC twice and suggested that as a PGD shareholder I would welcome them into Chidliak as the lead party to take Chidliak from the discovery phase to the mine phase. The first time they replied and stated very much the same line as Mr. Bell that they were watching all Canadian exploration projects. The second time in the past 2 weeks I did not get any reply to my repeated request.
I did in fact soke to my source who is NOT AN INSIDER of PGD about PGD getting some kind of funding to go to the next phase and was told PGD was working on it.We all could say the same thing.
My theory about DDC needing PGD if JAY did not make the required IRR was called into question by my self when I ssen the IRR a hair over the limit. But with the intervies after hour last night with Mr. Bell, my theory still stands that PGD is a very logical fit for DDC who does grass root projects (not buys mines) and builds mine from discovery to production to capture the in situ value not priced into the target.PGD is still a logical fit for DDC as Diavik is nearing it end of mine life.
LOGIC forces me to speculated DDC will buy PGD.It will happen shorty after PGD does its duty to show its investors the PEA so they can judge any kind of offer using the PEA math.DDC can not and will not buy PGD unless it can show its shareholder the numbers in the PEA to justify the price paid.
PGD will be bought
