JK obviously felt like it was a possibility, no need to rush over to SCY if you think a buyout or JV is imminent. If they do another discounted offering, they pick up some market share and keep the SP depressed, along with another entity the F brothers get together and buy out the shares of PGD. In the meantime they have the retail market pay half of the costs to advance the story and we're shown the door once they feel they are close enough to mine. That's a dark thought but it might just be why JK was so concerned about the story...The F brothers pay 1/2 the cost, depress the SP and pick up the story through another entity and they/we tender our shares at a number that gets us all even and we're happy to wave goodbye and get on to the next.
