RE:Robert Friedland - acounting? legal? - changesInteresting tidbit Mike, And especially the timing of year end of 2016 personal tax season for RF.
From a Bull's (or Bears) perspective, moving assets from an SRL (like a LLP) and a pass-through tax incurred by the LLC individuals, taxed at the individuals tax rate (capital gains or losses) ---- to a corporation structure taxed at the corporations tax rate.
One of a few possible reasons and can be complicated based on details and other reasons. The Ivanhoe similarities help support the bull's for a stock purchase and capital gain. IMO and I'm no tax expert, need to do some more research in the fine print.

Due diligence done.
Technically, the 85 million shares went from Newstar Securities SRL to Newstar Securities Investments Ltd.
Why? Could be several bullish and bearish reasons why this transaction occurred within PGD. Not as exciting as that though.
Seems to be a simple change that Robert has made with other companies as well...so not PGD specific by any stretch.
Ivanhoe:
37 million shares from Evershine SRL to Evershine Securities Ltd.
32 million shares from HHC Holdings SRL to Horizon Holdings Capital Inc.
66 million shares from Newstar Securities SRL to Newstar Securities Investments Ltd.
Only thing that stands out in the Ivanhoe was one of the companies went to Incorporated instead of just Ltd. ...but I believe both basically mean the same thing.
Sounds like housekeeping more then anything else.
LONG...PGD
