RE:Field geologist - Anglo America (De Beers Canada)

RE:Field geologist - Anglo America (De Beers Canada)
Nicole might get the job?

Most recently we are conducting a lot of Exploration from the Victor Mine Site in northeastern Ontario. The mine site has permanent structures and more of the amenities of home (e.g., phones, internet, gym), but it poses the additional challenge of working around an operating mine, where again, safety is the number one priority.

De Beers Canada is looking at doing some exploration?

Victor - Tango extension has been shelved for now.
Gahcho Kue - I haven't heard of any exploration plans in the near area. Basically KDI has been doing most of the area specific exploration.
Where else are they working?

The field site location is left as a blanket -- any province or territory.
Closing date March 1st?

If DBC comes back...I'm pretty sure they will continue on with their gravity surveys that they were working on before.

The description and skillset listed for the job are dead in line with the work to be done at Chidliak.

As far as we know..the Negotiations were in full active mode as of Feb. 9th (based on earnings report). This job posting was listed on Feb. 7th.

The jobs base site is listed as Toronto...not Calgary..where De beers Canada has moved most of its staff.

Toronto to Iqaluit is a direct flight. Calgary to Iqaluit is not.

LONG...PGD
