RE:Reading through financials............It probably would have been expenses relating to drilling activities. (drill rods, payments to contractors in advance of...etc.)
Businesses and individuals treat expenses quite differently.
For example -- If I pay for an annual membership in dec 2017 for the 2018 year...I would include that in my 2018 tax year as a deduction...but a business would expense that membership fee in Dec 2017 and include it in the 2017 tax year even though the membership was for 2018.
So, if PGD paid a drilling contractor in June 2017 for work to be done in July 2017...it would be expensed in jun 2017.
