RE:RE:RE:Eira's new role as CEO of Lucara

RE:RE:RE:Eira's new role as CEO of LucaraI posted this, actually even more, on the Stornoway forum in response to how all of a sudden LC is positive about Eira, but not so way back in 2011, although he was all positive at first:

Congratulations to Eira and Matt for their efforts in building a soon-to-be great company!

SWY does not have the technical team capable of bringing Renard Mine to fruition.
Eira and Matt are exploration geologists.
It ain't gonna happen and that is what the market folks are telling us.

Agnico Eagle or Rio Tinto could easily sway the others onto their side and in all likelihood will end up with Renard.
As postulated by others here, perhaps Renard is "spun off" for say $600M and SWY continues as an exploration company. What then? Eira and Matt continue to pull down big salaries and everyone is happy. And then Aviat is put on a ten year development timeline etc etc.

Simply put, Eira and Matt have to soon show that they can add value or else they should be replaced by the Board of Directors.

Am happy to have increased my position yesterday at $2.23-$2.24.
Nice uptick today!

Let's see if Matt can get through the interview with some credibility...

Really am HOPING/wishing/PRAYING this company makes BIG gains soon so I can finally retire!!

Like yourself I have been continuing to add to my portfolio because from everything that I can figure, this should be a no brainer winner.
But from time to time you gotta ask yourself" What's up?

Queen of Diamonds No More Glitter

As a long time holder of Stornoway with a VERY significant holding, I must state that I, like many shareholders, are terribly disappointed in the performance of this company.
Seems quite clear that Eira has dropped the ball and Matt is doing his fumbling best to keep it in the air.

A few years ago a couple of 'ladies' were termed the Queens of Diamonds: Eira and the lesser Pamela of Shear notoriety.

But what is even sadder is the lacklustre performance of SWY.
The "glitter girl" has done little to provide value to long-term shareholders.

While there is little I can do as a small shareholder, my bets are that something will come out of the BIG BOYS before the end of the year that will see Eira hitting the road.
Stornoway needs some real business leaders to grow in value. The potential is thgere but all the stock seems to do is slide back into oblivion.

I'm not sure who the right people are to lead this company to the next level, but it doesn't appear to be Eira and Matt.

I fear we will all lose with the status quo.
The trendlines appear to agree.
The Queens are no more.
