another new low

maybe we will see Cudjo's prediction today.  Guess the ugly isn't done, leakage happening?

Cash value per share will be close to 5 cents. We will find out next week. Point in time, Chidliak is then worth 10 or 11 cents per share, which equates to a valuation of $20 million for the project. Rock bottom pricing. LONG...PGD EKIM

With the junior market where it is and news seriously lacking, and given that tax loss selling won't be done for a while yet, under 10 cents is looking likely. The fact remains that the fundamentals support a much higher price. It's too bad fundamentals don't mean much when no one wants to buy. At best we might see the price begin to move up come January.  I'm not sufficently ...more

@10 cents you looking at valuation of a company that equates to the total cost of the Bulk sample program from start to PEA. At that point, you are putting all your $$'s on Red (ie. PEA) with no plan B if it lands on Black. Get that LDD drilling in Feb/March this year. RC or core drill during the summer to get as much tonnage as possible out of those kimberlites and then roll the dice on the ...more

I know!  I thought that a few months ago too. Who would have thought we would see 15 cents? Well, Cudjo did. I'm just venting a little. The fundamentals really are there and they're good too. Very good. Before the financing I saw this as hitting $8 to $12 with 17 even a posible overshoot. With the financing it should be roughly half that. It should have never reached 15 cents. But ...more

People wanted cheap. They got cheap.I thought I would see at least a few happy campers. I don't care about fundamentals, but I imagine if they were good at 40c, it should be impossible to pass on at this price, no?
Comment by maintenance1 on Dec 05, 2014 3:35pm
Well isn't that trading all wrapped up? You want cheap... You get cheap... You start thinking, maybe this is cheap for a reason. Fear gets a hold of your emotions, you hit the sell buttom and off to the moon it goes! Which window looks nice for a jump?  Or FOMO takes hold, you buy more, zero approaches, which window looks nice for a jump?  At least fundamentals might help you keep ...more

Yep gotta decide for yourself. I have already decided for myself. Looking forward to the $13-15mil program for next year, potentially $30-mil program over 2 years without financing if the share price does lend itself to warrants being exercised. Or no news release and this was share price manipulation in order to privatize the company at the expense of the shareholders. Or poor results dont ...more

I don't care what people say but a stock with a performace like this one, looking for money cannot afford to keep quiet. If it is not selling itself (or maybe it is? ):  ), then try to sell it. That's in the best interest of ALL shareholders. But again, the idea could be why fix something that is not broken, no? If this was the plan from the beginning?
Comment by cudjo on Dec 05, 2014 3:48pm
wonder if anon will step in again today with a 500 trade to pull it back to 16 or 16.5.
Comment by Kidlapik on Dec 05, 2014 3:57pm
Why promote in December when your warrants dont expire until April? If I wanted to get as many warrants turned into shares as possible so as to maximize my income and not have to waste more time and money raising additional funds for the 2016 program I would focus all my promotion for the tail end.
Comment by cudjo on Dec 05, 2014 4:07pm
Kidlapik, there is a thing called momentum, promotion should be happening here all the time.  If a sp grows the last week of April, then it is all manipulation, and will crash and burtn right after.  The way this is going, if it doesn't go private, it is in a world of hurt because right now they will not get any money from the warrants (unless management planned to all along ...more

You are absolutely right about Momentum. What direction are we currently heading? I would say we are heading down, would a news release stating oil prices are down, the canadian dollar is down, here are some small results from our prep year and our finances stop that? I say no they would not. Instead I would wait until January, when people have room in their TFSA / RRSP and any tax loss selling ...more

Kidlapik, management told us we would have caustic news out by the end of the year, they told us we would have a better idea of the size of CH6 by the end of the year and a better idea of what CH7 and 44 would look like by the end of the year. There is nothing stopping management from promoting the idea of a mine on Baffin island, handshakes with the locals, cost compaisons versus other northern ...more

Tom Peregoodoff REGULARY hand shakes with the locals. There have been two public meetings this year giving out information and answering questions/concerns in order to head off any potential complaints. They have met with city council and amended their project in order to keep local snow mobilers happy. The year is not over yet and thus they can still do what they said they were going to do. You're right. No question there. However, it is easier to move the share price to .3 from .2 than it is to move it to .22 from .1.  Having said that, both Friedland's have done a tad better than I have so hopefully they are on top of this with plans other than taking it private. I still don't think private is in the works. I would think that they want access to the market.
Comment by Gauwd on Dec 05, 2014 4:42pm
Thanks Kidlapik, and who else knows about Tom meeting with locals other than the locals and a few posters here.  Look for 'In the News' on my last list.  Kaiser does more than management. IF MANAGEMENT DOESN'T GET OFF THERI AR$ES AND PROMOTE, NO ONE WILL BE EXERSICING WARRANTS.  Do you think announcing news from 2014 field program months after they promised to do so ...more

70% drop in share price with nothing out of headquarters says a lot very loudly IMO.  What is in the next NR, how it is said and when it is released will be very telling.  Warrants will require good news and momentum or they will die on the vine (or will they? I suggest managements won't).  Question to those who would know.  Will shareholders know if management exercises ...more

The farther you are from the 21c strike and the longer you stay there, the harder it will be to get over it. The normal assumption should be for the period up until April a hike towards that target, then a stagnation or a drop, but I would not count on a move above that before the warrants expire, unless something stellar comes out. The question is from where, though. I don't see much ...more

By then it could be too late to promote. I don't think that there is a field that would not consider preventing damage easier and more beneficial than fixing it. Certain things cannot be undone. Look at Gauwd, if he can get out with some money saved from this investment, he is never looking back. How many more do you think did that already or waiting for the same chance?
Comment by Kidlapik on Dec 05, 2014 4:14pm
I have a hard time believeing that the people selling now are also the people who subscribed to the warrants. A really hard time accepting that fact. I also do not believe the people holding the warrants are basing whether they will or will not exercise those warrants on the share price 4 months out from the expiration date.

I think the location is playing a big part on the negativity towards this stock. Look at KDI. They have statistically small results, just had a large set back in cpt results and they are still above $100-million market cap. PGD has $1.5bil with another possible $2bil about to be shore'd up just in one very shallow over burden kibmerlite and they are sitting at $33-Mil market cap. But people ...more

Comment by cudjo on Dec 05, 2014 3:43pm
there is a lot of things at play here, not just locaton, not just junior markets, not just management picking a lowball price to finance, all of that yes, and the major issue I see is the size of CH6 pipe and lack of information from the management team into the investment community (promotion).  Good news from bulk sample on 7 and 44 is going to be required to make a mine ...more

There was a time when Iqaluit was considered pretty remote. Not anymore. The infrasture is sufficient for this project for sure. In many ways, it is better than many sites in the north. The fact that you can get a barge there for a couple of months of the year, and fly for the rest makes it not so remote. It requires more careful planning  to take advantage of barge shipping over flight but ...more

As far as scheduled flights there are three 737 from Ottawa each day, three(?) times a week there is 737 from Montreal, 2(?) a week there was 737 direct to Halifax. That Halifax run I believe was cancelled recently not 100% on that. There is also direct flights from Iqaluit to Nuuk Greenland now. Also, many planes flying over the pole land in Iqaluit as it has the largest air strip in the North ...more
