Sobering insight from Will Purcell

I want to thank you guys for being here. You're certainly a cure for "writers block" an hour or two before the market close each day.

First it's irrational exuberance based on guys feeding off another's enthusiasm.

Now you're doing the same in reverse.

Here's some questions:

#1. Why does it matter what the offer price is? As a shareholder, you're going to participate, or sell the rights. At five cents, you're most likely to exercise. At 25 cents you're most likely to sell. At either price, Peregrine gets its $7-million and your ownership stake remains exactly the same.

#2. Why did you want them to wait for the sample results? You're assuming they are going to be fantastic? What if they're just "good" in the 1.15-carat-per-tonne range of good? Peregrine's stock slumps in the tax-loss season and without the prospect of "fantastic" results, they have to raise $7-million in a dead market with a dying stock price. From memory, I think about 95 per cent -- or more -- of the times a promoter has waited for results to raise cash, it proved to be a big mistake.

#3. Why do you think that the rights offering is a harbinger of bad news? Why, especially, after you were all fawning over the microdiamond counts just a few days ago.

#4. Why do you think the low price for the rights offering benefits the insiders? The higher the price, the less likely retail shareholders are to exercise their rights, so the more that the insiders will have available to acquire.

Anyway, guys. Happy ruminating over Peregrine, monster diamonds and imminent takeover bids.

Cheers,

Will

Read Will P's post and take a chill pill Mill. no poison pills here. they need money, they'll get it, the show goes on.

Finally someone sees the light...who,are you going to side with Will P., writer for many, many years in this area, considered an expert, or an anonymous poster named Mill?  You choose, I choose Will. just a coincidence they rhyme...

Holy cr*p are you fragile.   Give the Mil thing a rest. He has his opinions- you don't have to agree.
Comment by Kodiboy on Nov 19, 2015 3:10pm
I'm not fragile at all just asking questions of someone who refuses to answer, who always wants to be right, who buys a stock he hates and has no trust in, what gives? What is the motivation?  He hopes the stock goes down so he can put it into his tax free account, is that what most people here think about? Really, I'm fragile? Give me a frickin break!!
Comment by Chefboy69 on Nov 19, 2015 3:14pm
coming undone Kodiboy??...you lost a wack today hun??? oh well its only money you know Karma right??? that's all i will say
Comment by Kodiboy on Nov 19, 2015 3:27pm
Chefboy, ya I come undone when a poster, Mill, goes along with the suggestion that Ekim is management.  What's that all about?  Where were you when that accusation was made?  Maybe I'm the only one who will stand up for himselve and others while others just sit back and are ok with unfounded accusations?  What a frickin joke some of you are!  No morales at all to ...more
Comment by Chefboy69 on Nov 19, 2015 3:32pm
you and ekim have been on here pumping the fuc.k out of this stock...I read these boards you can't hide from me
Comment by alberto782007 on Nov 19, 2015 3:16pm
You are fragile and obsessed with Mil's posts.  Like a pit bull. Read his posts if you want an answer to those questions. People are allowed to have doubts.  It is not a crime to express them. Frankly if you have ridden this this thing downwards for years and have no doubts you are an idiot. The future of this company is uncertain and that is why the stock is worth so  little ...more
Comment by Kodiboy on Nov 19, 2015 3:21pm
No I am not the one who is has ridden this down, it's the other guy! People are allowed to have their doubts, absolutely, as am I about a posters motives.
Comment by mill44 on Nov 19, 2015 3:31pm
Alberto, I disregard Kodiboy's posts, they have absolutely no value. He asks questions about obvious things or ones that were answered already. His contribution to the board is, beside insulting people, minimal. Then he goes on and complains that he is ganged up on on every board. No reason to get upset, it is more funny.
Comment by alberto782007 on Nov 19, 2015 3:34pm
I like to give everybody a chance, but he is now switched off.
Comment by mill44 on Nov 19, 2015 3:37pm
You cannot not like a guy with so much empathy toward people, no?
Comment by chucknorrisknows on Nov 19, 2015 3:39pm
NAILED IT MILL!! He needs to give Kodi a break and come in with the "Fivecarat" One Two punch.  LMAO!! Chuck Knows!
Comment by mill44 on Nov 19, 2015 3:41pm
It just saddens me that he does not approve of me. My only reason of being here was to please him.
Comment by alberto782007 on Nov 19, 2015 3:45pm
There, there.  Time heals all wounds.
Comment by mill44 on Nov 19, 2015 3:49pm
Joke aside, I know how you must have felt this morning. I bet Gauwd is drunk already after the news.
Comment by Kodiboy on Nov 19, 2015 3:51pm
One thing I'm sure of Mill, my avg price is much, much lower than yours, I think so anyway, no?
Comment by alberto782007 on Nov 19, 2015 3:55pm
Yes,  Ouch.  I don't know what to make of this. I don't have the fortitude to put more cash into this. I am not sure whether to hold on longer or give up:  15 cents is better than nothing

I would forget about the jackpot for sure, but to give up? If you are planning on giving up, then why not just play it?
Comment by bludogg on Nov 19, 2015 4:32pm
big problem here... some of these posters are being guided and manipulated by board members and that is FRAUD... SOOOO someone with a connection shud be giving SEC a call and straighten this krap out once and for all...
Comment by alberto782007 on Nov 19, 2015 4:33pm
Because my PGD stock is still worth what I consider to be a lot of money and I don't want to lose all of it.   I can't decide whether this play is a dud as the market suggests- and I am too stupid/blind to see it; or is it a winner that just can't get respect at the moment.  Haven't decided yet.
Comment by mill44 on Nov 19, 2015 4:39pm
then maybe it's time to scale back. For sure not time to add to it :)
Comment by alberto782007 on Nov 19, 2015 4:54pm
I don't have enough cash available to fully subscribe to this latest financing, even if I wanted to. Keep hoping they stumble over another fist-sized diamond in Africa.
Comment by Kodiboy on Nov 19, 2015 4:58pm
Sounds like advice to me. The problem here is that neg nellies are cheered when it doesn't look good and people like Elim who are still positive are charged with being management and no one seems to see the injustice of that. Where is the proof? Maybe it's time people stopped being lead like a bunch of monkeys!
Comment by Kodiboy on Nov 19, 2015 3:48pm
Yup and u ignored all my private messages as well, right Mill?  And to think, we almost meet for lunch in the beginning...whoa is me, I'm so sad...
