If you are looking at a devil's advocate...the question then becomes...why did BHP only get $125K from the royalty...they must think that Chidliak is a no go no brainer to accept such an abyssmal amount. Does that work? LONG...PGD EKIM

People look at this and think sale or some kind of transaction. It was a settlement and probably just to finish the process.

My heart nearly fell out of my chest when I saw the email from PGD in my inbox because all I could read of the subject was "Peregrine announces termination of..." I was thinking it was a termination of the rights offering or something else terrible haha.

I didn't think like that kid...but I did catch the negativity of the headlines. Peregrine Diamond cancels.... Does sound negative for anyone who doesn't know what is going on. Like the bulk sample. The breakages will have a negative result to the value. Yet...they could have said....the breakages will be adjsuted for and have a positive effect to the valuation model as compared to the ...more

Catching on, Ekim? How many times did they have the chance to put a positive spin on things, a little PR, in the last 3 years, and they decided that it was better not to say anything or better yet, let it be a turn off for the market? Looking at their spending, you would not guess that they are so cheap that they would use interns for this kind of work.

That was far from all the rights. Barely made a dent in the ask and there is more to come. Brokers will try to sell all the rights that are not exercised soon. The way it is going, the US holders will get enough from the proceeds of the sale to have a beer after they are done.

:P only if they ALL disappeared schneps, 2 million went, worth 50K, please :D  The BHP settlement is a feather in Toms cap, doesn't mean pipe 7 will be enough now.  Really only speaks loudly if this is actually a 5 billion diamond mine, and will take many millions more dollars to prove out.  Or you could look at this and say BHP really only thinks it was worth 125K ...more
