I find it strange

that most people here see me as the big bear, the most negative after Cudjo. Have you thought about something? My idea is based on the fact that Robert finds the project desirable. Ekim and Kidlapik are permabulls based on fundamentals. But what if I am wrong? What happens if with this financing we realize that Robert might not want this as badly as I thought? Everyone asks the same thing, who do you think is right, the bears or Robert? Who knows more, Cudjo or Robert? But what happens with Ekim's numbers or Kidlapik's faith if I am wrong? If I am wrong then Ekim and Kidlapik might not be in the same camp with Robert anymore.
Everyone invested in PGD should pray that I am right or this will be shelved until the next peak in the commodities bull cycle, because, as Cudjo said, PGD will not have any money for future work.

So you see, I am not a bear. I still believe that there is interest in the project, maybe too much interest. But for now, Robert is the only one interested. If he gives up then the fat lady has sung.

Yes mill, PGD will not have any funds to go forward without a partner, whoever that may be. Or a buyout? Or there is a lot more going on that we can only guess at.

People look at Robert as Eric's brother and see no difference. Robert is actually the partner replacing DeBeers. Eric chose him in favor of DeBeers. His continuous support is crucial to the project and you need that support to show at the closing.

You are absolutely right Mill. I can't say, and I believe I say for many more, there are a lot of frayed nerves this week and it starting too leak at the seams. The rights offering stated that when enquired (at the time) directors intentions were to exercise. This does not mean they have to but if they don't, oh my. Cudjo and his shorts are good. Retail's doomed.

Yep, not much left but to wait. The reason why we are here is the financing. The same way the last financing took us from 40c to 13c, with the difference that last time the money could have generated enough interest in the project to last until the mine was built. This time the only thing that can save us is a complete commitment from Robert, showing the world that he will build the mine. With a ...more

Mill, I don't see you as the big bear or as negative, neither do I see that in Cudjo...all I see are opinions and some important questions being asked that no one here can answer with any kind of certainty.  What I do see is someone who continually insists he doesn't care if he is right, yet almost always insists that he is...and that's you Mill. Now we should all pray that you ...more

Kodiboy, when are you going to realize that why I do things is not important, what I say is. You say that all what you see is opinions and questions, yet you ask me why I ask questions or come up with scenarios. In your opinion, what are we supposed to do on this forum? What would be acceptable for your high standards? Let's see if I can explain it to you in a way that you can understand why ...more

Mill, I know you are a logical guy, but just because you display good logic does not mean you are right or what you say is going to come true.  I  respect your opinion, I don't respect your motives.
Comment by mill44 on Jan 27, 2016 12:16pm
That's why it's a theory until it's proven. You have no idea about my motives, how can you judge them?
Comment by Kodiboy on Jan 27, 2016 12:18pm
Ok Mill, here is a chance to put your money where your mouth is. Here is a wager:  if the Freidlands do not pick up the shares, I will never post here again, if the Freidlands do pick up the shares, you will never post here again. Will you take that bet?
Comment by mill44 on Jan 27, 2016 12:25pm
where is the wager or the money in that? And why would I go against myself? I always said that they had every intention to pick the shares up. I would have to be a complete idiot to be here if I thought that they would not exercise. I just posted about my theory that without them PGD is done.
Comment by Kodiboy on Jan 27, 2016 12:39pm
A wager does not have to include a monetary amount to be considered one. So your opinion is to cover both scenarios in what the Freidlands may do, correct?  So not really an opinion, just a potential outcome if the do or don't? So you refuse the bet because you believe they will excersise?  That is what you are saying, correct?

No matter what anyone says...Robert is the one with big $$'s.I I know Eric would have padded his wealth on the last PGM takeout...so is no slouch either. I could see a scenario where both full exercise..but maybe Robert only takes up the additional shares available. Findout in a couple of days. LONG...PGD EKIM

Kodiboy, I thought you were off to" Waki Quaki" for two weeks and not to be heard from. Is the pull of this board actually stronger than a pineapple full of Mai Tai's? I'll leave you all behind tomorrow when we skidoo over to the island for a few days. With no ill feeling about what's happening here, what's done is done now. Aloha!

I am but i guess it doesn't matter where you are, you like to stir the Mill pot, at least I do! but the pool is calling my name....so bra, later...

I don't really understand you Kodiboy. You said put my money where my mouth is. I just asked you what money. I don't think that there was any ambiguity in my statement. From the moment the financing was announced I said they would exercise and most likely oversubscribe. And I put my money where my mouth is. I exercised my rights. I am fully invested in PGD. It's you that keeps putting ...more

What I find perplexing Mill, is that I get the succinct feeling from your previous posts concerning Pgd is that you wish you never trusted the Freidlands and that you were warning the board about them as far back as 2 years ago or more now, and that you wish you never got involved with the stock because you were worried about their intentions or some would call it motives, and now your motives are ...more

I bet every long here wished that they sat on the sidelines up until now, so you are not saying much. I don't have to trust the Friedlands, I have to trust the numbers. The Friedlands will not put diamonds in the ground. Robert is an investor who cares about his investment only. There is no blame for that, to expect more or anything else would be foolish. You can bet that he will use all the ...more
