Nice news

Barring my opinion on grade and value may go up when they have a cleaner less broken sample, those 5 million tonnes of profitable material just added a chunk of npv and reduced the payback on the project. IMO 9.5 million tonnes seals the deal on a 1 mpta mill and that has a significant impact on ch6 when comparing to a 500ktpa mill. NPV should be higher and operating costs lower and payback faster. NPV is all about ch6 and today's news release is satisfying both socio-economic and economic requirements.

It's about the investor base. A part of it is educated enough about the project to have known that there will be a mine, they are already fully invested (except maybe Oiltar). The other part doesn't know or doesn't care about any of that. We need that deal or some serious new investors to change the course.

So Ekim when can we expect an updated NPV from you using these new figures? ;) I personally find your insight more enlightening and realistic than Kaiser.

You are in IVN, Kidlapik, have you seen my question? What do you think about  a marriage between the 2 of them?
Comment by Kidlapik on May 05, 2016 10:47am
Any clear path to financing is welcome for PGD and I am sure PGD could benefit from their management team going towards production. Though people even now look at IVN and dont see the path to developing Kamoa which boggles my mind. IVN Could pick up 50% of Chidliak for cheap right now and would have a world class copper project, world class PGM project, world class zinc project and a world class ...more

But why would IVN do it? I don't see a clear advantage for them.

I agree that in a mining scenario we are going to push past both value and grade however did we not expect the 0.88 cpt to increase, not decrease, or was the breakage not reviewed for the sake of determining the Inferred? Thanks for all that you do. Greex

Assuming they are probably required to use the 0.88 cpt because the breakage is a calculated assumption, not to be used in NI 43-101. But that does realistically move this up probably another 25% in value.

SWY announced some relatively positive news today as well and went down slightly so far as well.  Fickle, hard to understand market reaction these days, not for the feint of heart in a mining scenario at any stage, but especially at the exploration discovery stage. Would any source of funds, like IVN or LUC, or even SWY, be welcome at this stage?  Or is it better to have some other kind ...more

IMO the risk on swy is that the price has been pushed up to force the exercise of the warrants. I'll be watching closely come late July/August to see what happens.long...PGD...ekim

Have to agree Mike concerning Swy as price increase out of character for that stock, especially from a base of around .70 in recent times to the now one buck base.  Some spouting over there that this will be over  a buck fifty by years end, have my doubts as well about that but all the best to them as any good stories only helps others in the business as far as I'm concerned.

Adjustment or fudge factor for breakage needs quantifying before using. Sgf has multiple upon multiple of datasets to determine their adjustment. PGD has no where near enough to quantify a value. I'm sure the 10 to 40% adjustment range still is on the table. We will need to read the details in the full technical report. Assuming no adjustment, there is significant upside in further datasets as ...more
