Ivanhoe has working capital of CAD$593 million
Ivanhoe just rec'd another payment from Zijin -- Ivanhoe Payment
The shares are moving up on another installment with more to come.
PGD did move into IVN's office.
Robert Friedland is a tough negotiator....maybe the only person to match him is himself.
Ivanhoe has the muscle to acquire PGD...and if their paper power is rising...an all share deal looks even easier to accomplish. Their paper power is double what it was 6 months ago.
1 share of IVN for 2 shares of PGD??
IVN's projects are by default High Margin deposits...Robert doesn't tend to like low margin (option call) type deposits. Chidliak would fit into that structure.

This might actually be a better deal but based on the numbers presented in the PEA wouldn't a 1:1 share deal more in line?

I would like that ratio better 1.45 shares for 1 IVN. The 50/50 deal you mention I also thought could very well work into this deal.

Zijin is on a roll and could buy a seat at this PGD diamond sorting table quite easily . . . . . . https://www.scmp.com/business/companies/article/1988363/zijin-mining-surges-48-billion-yuan-share-placement

That explains the rise in Ivanhoe shares today. Big money for big capital projects. You still sitting your 25 cent bid....waiting for the market to come to you...instead of you becoming the market? LONG...PGD EKIM

Very interesting...gee, a little while ago, not sure who, suggested the IVN connection and was blasted as a preposterous wishful, plainly stupid idea...now, all of a sudden it has legs. Who here believes in karma?

That was me. I always thought it was a pretty fluid idea based again on the only reason Robert found Voisey Bay Nickel was because he was looking for diamonds. Lustres don't fade.
