Many years ago the auto industry in general was in trouble, then a somewhat revolutionary product, which seems weird to put that title to the mini van, but it was at the time.  Everyone around the world wanted and bought larger and larger vehicles and for the auto makers it was an ideal situation because producing such vehicles in comparison, did not cost that much more to produce, but they ...more

It is same with the synthetic argument. They say that there product is 10% cheaper then the natural product....but the companies themselves keep losing money year over year. and to say the cost of a 1 carat pulled out of Mine A versus Mine B is going to be the same is ridiculous. They don't take into account varying profit margins at varying site. I would not call synthetic diamonds 10 ...more

Silverwhere, quite a few of us here have been through a few marathons, not just sprints. To be successful in investing, your timing has to be good, not just the target. If you don't believe that in the short to medium term PGD is going to do well how can you push it on others? Why would anyone buy here if there will be better opportunities later? Even if you don't lose more than time ...more

Sounds like you are speaking from your own personal PGD losses mill. Guess you would know all about PGD losses, much like JK who lead his followers to multi-million dollar losses with his terrific PGD timing.
