This dip is a good place to buy NXG; Mgmt at PGD appears to treat the shareholders as peons ....maybe that is part of the problem here that has been overlooked ....the Friendlands don't need money, so if ten years ago you or I were hopefully that this stock would fuel our early retirement, pay for college tuition, etc. We were mistaken. The Friendlands don't have these issues,coupled that with a project that obviously does not have private equity or another major jumping in ...and we all have been had If DeBeers was chased away, quite a blunder ...if they walked-well I assume they know more about diamond mines and the diamond business then some of our cheerleading posters here That really is the bottom line here

You are right that the Friedlands dont need the money but they are also not in the habit of wasting money, especially their own. They have put millions of dollars into the coffers and they didnt do it without good reason.

The no free look back fired big time and Debeers simply would not invest $58 million with out some kind of an idea of the quality and value of Chidliak.They were already smarting  in the wallet trying to keep Snap floating with water gushing in faster than  the Titanic.Snap never producing a profit gave Debeers a lesson in falling in love with a deposit too early until it could be fully ...more

Hard to judge a game without understanding the game plan, especially if the game is still going. The Friedlands' next move will show if this was a mistake or they simply led the opponent in the direction they wanted with a few strategic steps. A few people here can tell you that I laid out this exact scenario in 2014 to them. One of them was Ekim. That scenario would continue with some sort of ...more
