Where is the $5 buyout we were told about?

$5 is a one h$ll of a stretch target. Assuming CH-6 goes down to 1 km..you could push a target of $3 per share as fully valued.  Need another CH-6 type pipe on site to reach a $5 target. 1 - When was the last time the stock was ever fully valued. Constant discount. 2 - They still have targets on site...but are choosing to focus on CH-6/7 in the near to medium term. Possible to get another ...more

Again my question. If they were to sell Chidliak, how would it be broken up? Could it be broken up? How possibly could anybody evaluate the unknown potential of Chidliak? You can't. Not unless you receive a whack of cash (for CH6 + potential), shares and a royalty. It's difficult to determine what could be possibly going on, in relation to the supposed talks that have or are occurring. All ...more

market is giving zero value to the 'discovered' kms in the region, zero value to CH1 for example,  which initially lit a fire under pgd., and not much consideration to 6 and 7 despite claims made by pompoms.  Remember I am long at the moment.  None of it would be broken up in any sale IMO, as to existing value, remains to be seen what the actual value of 6 is and no one is ...more

The market is probably looking at what the bros are willing to spend on their product and coming to the conclusion that they are only willing to spend 10 cents on it right now. Why? Greed? I kinda hope so....
Comment by greex27 on Oct 13, 2017 11:09am
Schneps...A JV is the best way through to value the unknowns, it allows PGD to share some risk and share in the upside. You can imagine a partner isn't going to value the unknown the same way I expect PGD to value the unknown, a JV allows both parties to participate in the risk reward. What I suspect is that PGD is trying to value PGD somewhere around their share of the cost of the mine so ...more

They are also converting 10 key claims into mining leases. I think this more has to do with the timing and maximum length you can keep it in claim status...but they could look at unloading those 10 key claims for X amount and keep a 50/50 on all claims surroudning those leases. You could sell PGD whole with those key claims and then spin out the rest of Chidliak into a 50/50 JV with a self ...more

Greex if a JV is to be had...do you think it will be an earn-in toward a JV....or something much more direct from the get go? 7 year earn-ins like we have seen with both $SGF and $FEX are not ideal for the peons like us. LONG...PGD EKIM

I think, I hope, that most here know we are speculating on the ifs and maybe’s in so many different scenarios and who can argue with what Mike has said, we don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors. My feeling, as I’ve expressed before, and it’s not rocket science, that if you got in at 10 to 14 cents, it is a good bet you will garner a good to great return if you are patient, as 20 cents is ...more

It's hard enough to swallow the disparity between my average cost and current share price without having to think of the lost opportunity cost...Thanks Cudjo!! Ha!!
Comment by ekim on Oct 13, 2017 1:52pm
lost opportunity cost talk? You mean I could have not invested money in PGD and done one of the following: Lost a lot of money in another company. Lost some money in another company. broke even in another company. Made some money in another company. Made a lot of money in another company. I have missed an opportunity to lose or make money in another company? That logic dumbfounds me. LONG ...more

We are experiencing one of the longest bull markets in history. The mining sector, one of the most battered sectors in this market had a furious comeback that started in early 2016. Even the energy sector that  was left for dead had a decent bounce in the last year, so yes, considering the environment, it is definitely appropiate to talk about lost opportunities. The last 4 years PGD dropped ...more

Mills point is well taken, if, if PGD was the only stock you invested in the last 4 years or so.  How many here have done just that?
Comment by griefman on Oct 13, 2017 2:51pm
The 14 cent SP acknowledgement was strictly, on my part, because of the quite times of PGD, not a celebration....
Comment by mill44 on Oct 13, 2017 3:06pm
It does not matter if you invested in anything else. As long as you invested in PGD as well, that money has been locked and carries a paper loss. Even if that loss is going to pe recovered in the future (we still don't know that for sure), because of the environment we have been for quite a while the money would have been doing better in almost anything else. That is the opportunity loss ...more

This is a general statement, but I have found over many years, that if you hold onto a spec stock long enuff, you can avoid an actual loss, if you can stomach looking at a paper loss for a certain period of time, seems most of the time that the cycle will bring about a positive outcome...again a gernerality, not a certainty.  Now, if you bought Pgd at 3-4 bucks and have never avg down in any ...more

I totally agree Greex. I don't believe will be sold, based on my previous statements. I believe a partnership is far up the list followed by a very distance second of private and thirdly by a sale.
Comment by lovecarats on Oct 13, 2017 3:38pm
EKIM Apparently you keep forgetting how PGD would finance the likely $600-$750M cost to bring CH-6 into production. All typical valuations (ie. IRR & NPV) assume EQUITY financing. That would mean another Billion shares issued, minimum. Of course, you all could self-finance meaning ponying up minimum $1-2/share that you hold. $3/sh is a wet dream Consider yerself fortunate if PGD ever goes ...more

Yes LC is very well versed when it comes to some aspects of mining, but when it comes to investing, well, ask him how he is doing with the line of credit he used, not once but twice, to buy Swy, and how he can’t retire when he wanted to based on his investment in Swy over the years...ask him! Which one is more important, mining knowledge or making sound investing choices?

Not all griefman. None have been discounted. See, it is the logic that gets the attribute of being dumb...not the person. If one wants to imply that to be a negative attribute to any one person...well...that is not up to me. I'm just one person in this world of 7+ billion.  LONG...PGD EKIM
