Anyone

Wish to take a stab, hazard a guess, ponder a prediction, of when we might get some intitial results from the recent completed “digging”?

Some thought maybe early Nov?

My guess is, when hell freezes over.  They couldn't care less about the "longs" small snareholders-
Comment by griefman on Oct 25, 2017 4:31pm
Very astute of you cottons...do you still profess that thars pinks in there?
Comment by cottons on Oct 25, 2017 5:09pm
Yes, I believe there are pinks.  Has to be.  We ALMOST had a good pink in the microsipically small sampling whe have had to date (one shade off).  Comprehend the millions of carots yet to be sorted through, compaired to the  hundred or so carotswe have alreadylooked at, and being only one color shade away from an actual pink, mathematically I would think odds are in ...more

cottons, show me where the company told shareholders there was a "one shade off" pink?  Odds are enormous against that, however, investors should not be looking at the impossible, we know what we know, very nice smallish pipe in 6, with a good population of very nice clears, 3 and 4 carat, the meat and potatoes of a diamond mine, which is what we know.  As for results, small ...more

There are no pinks. If there WERE pinks - we would know about it and not be debating/speculating on diamonds that looked like "one shade off" pinks to our untrained eyes based on pictures we saw on the internet. Ch6 is a fantastic pipe full of gem quality diamonds. If they find pinks - we will know.
Comment by griefman on Oct 26, 2017 12:25pm
Sorry, but there were 2 tiny pinks as we’ve done this, seen this before. It was our good buddy James (Oiltar) who posted I believe, a thesis written by a UBC student that clearly showed that these 2 tiny pinks were indeed in a sample from quite a while ago. Can anyone else remember that?

In Canada, the Food and administration labels Lactose Free as being a product that has less than 1% of lactose in it. That is why you rarely see products that say no lactose. By that definition and in regards to pink and reds...then Argyle mine is a pink free zone. The reds they get at argyle are a statistical anomaly. These anomalies at Argyle are the ones that pay the bills and make the mine ...more

Yes, we've covered this many times. I do remember and I think it had something to do with ch7.
Comment by cudjo on Oct 26, 2017 6:27pm
Thanks kodi, however, having a student write an opinion in a thesis is not a NR from the company, it is pure speculation, and ekim, using a FDA analogy?? diamonds don't have to be "food safe" 1% lactose can have consequences to a person who is lactose intolerant ...... not to mention consequences to the people around them ... there was either pinks in the samples or not, no NR from ...more

If there are pinks - I will be happily wrong on the matter. I am 99.5% sure there are none. The formation of pink diamonds - and thus their presence in mines - is one of the rarer things on this planet earth. Arglye - which is not even a kimberlite - produces a number of them. And - curiously (to me at least) Alarosa has pulled some out of their kimberlites. I think the Kimberly and culligan mines ...more

I agree pinks at this stage are a non issue but the UBC student did not make up the 2 pinks as it was as a result of a NR in the form of results from a sample. Yes, it’s not like they were dancing in the streets yelling, we got pinks! We got pinks!  But it was NOT the students opinion....
Comment by griefman on Oct 26, 2017 7:14pm
Darn it, now I’m going to have to spend some time looking for that information that did come from Oiltar, even if it’s basically a totally useless endeavor...yuk!  Tomorrow’s homework....
Comment by cudjo on Oct 26, 2017 7:19pm
kodi, show me the NR that there were pink diamonds, even a hint of pink, or fancy diamonds, there isn't one, a thesis is a theory based on observation/opinions etc.  If the company comes out and states there are, in fact, small pink diamonds in a sample, okay, otherwise, bunk, period, end of story.  Good Luck
Comment by racer-x on Oct 26, 2017 7:29pm
I read one the stones were one shade off pink so labeled brown
Comment by cicerelli on Oct 26, 2017 8:35pm
Let’s just lay out the fundamentals as we know them. The speculation is an entirely different game. 74 kimberlite bodies. 71 chidliak and 3 on the nearby property. 51 have been tested - 45 are diamondiferous - 6 are not. thats amazing. to date, we have only begun to asses ch6 and ch7 for economic confidence and it looks super rich. Payback 2 years. Large margin, over 70% this, is before the ...more

Maybe four times $4b npv, expanding and open at depth below 530 meters don't have to pay for mine twice and expanding, raising my buyout price to $10/shr
Comment by cudjo on Oct 26, 2017 8:55pm
racer-x, only if they find a dozen or more 3-4 carat fancy pink and fancy yellow stones in the latest drills, otherwise you will be lucky to get a double from here, good luck.
Comment by griefman on Oct 26, 2017 7:52pm
Ok, here it is and if this does not format well, guess where I found it?  Mikes Chidliak blog! under title National Pink Day...let’s see if this works: Tuesday, June 23, 2015 National Pink Day   Today (June 23) is national pink day. What can Chidliak contribute to this themed day? Argyle mine is bar none, the most ...more

You will find that chart on page 126 of that CNGO.ca 2012 study....
Comment by griefman on Oct 26, 2017 8:11pm
Actually on page 117 I think but when you scroll it shows page 126 of 176 or so.
Comment by griefman on Oct 26, 2017 8:21pm
My mistake though as I thought it was in a thesis by a UBC student although maybe it was referred to?  Not sure, but nonetheless....micro as micro as can be, but 2 pinks.
Comment by cudjo on Oct 26, 2017 8:51pm
congrats kodi, 100% on the home work, still not a NR from the company, and while interesting, pretty much only that, the 3-4 carat clears are what may attract a partner, that said, I'll take a large pink diamond in the results expecting within the next couple of weeks, but a partner, big commitment financially by big bro (500 million plus), or buyout is what is really needed here, good luck ...more
Comment by griefman on Oct 26, 2017 9:02pm
Huh?  If it wasn’t from a NR, where did they get the Info? It was from a sample that the company, Peregrine produced. Now do you want me to find the actual NR form 2012 or so?  I agree, it’s meaningless in relationship to the overall project, but that was not the exercise, was it? It was to show that they “dug” up 2 pinks, light pinks, and not BS, fact....was I, or was I not ...more
Comment by cudjo on Oct 26, 2017 9:09pm
thanks kodi, show me the NR where they declare they found 2 tiny light pink diamonds, and I will join the band wagon, at this point, still only a minor notation in a students thesis...  good luck

My excitement, concerning stocks, has come from the crazy downturn of Stornoway stock. I always maintained that it is a good trading stock and the last couple of weeks have come thru in that regard. Been in and out of that one for at least 15 years going back to its Ashton days, which was a great explorer, as good as any in .
Comment by griefman on Oct 26, 2017 10:47pm
As good as any in Canada, it should have read....
