2018 Trench Program

Question for the board, related to the proposed 2108 Trench program of (2) at CH7 and (1) atCH44. The application was submitted to the NWB on November 27th 2017 and requires 90 days for approval. The request is for the trench work to be performed in March of 2018 (obviously to transport the bulk samples back to Iqualuit as opposed to having to fly it out).
My question is are they waiting on approval or have they been informed that it is not necessary as the old permits actually don't expire until June 2018?
It appears by the Financials that this money probably has been allocated to the work but I haven't seen anything formal. Maybe somebody can ask at PDAC next week.
Cheers

the company keeps, and has always kept, its shareholders informed of work programs well ahead of time.  If they applied for permits back in Nov for work in March and have not announced it, it wont be happening in that short amount of time.  They can always re-apply for permits.  Unfortunately for longs, If they do announce a work program and not a partner announcement, expect ...more

Curious as to why you think another rights offering or financing is required to perform three trenches? PGD has the Cat challengers and the sleighs. The only required equipment is an excavator, small drill rig, blast mats and about 8-10 people total. Helicopters and planes won't be necessary but I imagine they will utilize some flights via helicopter. This is not a big program and there is ...more

equipment might be an issue. Helicopters are not well suited to the "deep freeze" - too many moving parts outside the engine and thus subject to brittle breakage. Think about lug nuts snapping off in Southern Canada in the middle of winter. This is a time for "staging" to be ready to go when the weather moderates. Think mid May. Onward and Upward.

no question I am no expert on trenching in the artic, Montrose seems to have more of a handle on that than I, but I do no the company doesn't "spring" info on work programs on their shareholders, there is always a lead time for info, and IMO, more priorities than a trench program at this point in the history of pgd. if one thing, even though they are half staff etc., they are ...more

June is when the permits actually expire. The Nov. applicationis are to reapply for another 5 years and include for the (3) trenches. Chidliak has alot of permits turning over this year. Part of the reason for turning ten permits to mining leases. Also to secure the land and allow for the next stage of permitting to occur on these leases.

Montrose, As far as helicopter operating temperatures. Iqaluit's minus 20C temperatures, at this time of year, are by no means an issue for helicopter. The pilots I have flown with in northern Ontario take about -40c as a no launch low temp.. Obviously wind chill can be a factor but the helicopters utilized from Iqaluit would be stored overnight in temperature controlled hangars and they would ...more

Cudji woodsii, don’t you miss that? So, when are, or are, you planning, to get back into Pgd?  Long or short?

kodi, been dropping hints for a long time, thought you would have picked that up ;) .125, currently long, I expect a run up to PEA, after that, who tf knows.  If they partner I am golden, if rights, last time it didn't dip below 11, place yer bets, well see.  Good luck

Hmmm I thought so but I thought a little bit later than when it was around the 12 cent mark... Your posts start leaning towards a more positive outlook witch is a sign you’re back in and long, as it does with most posters here, so nothing unusual about that. Good luck, to all,

think the majority of my posts are positive, however, a pumperdumper would see my non rose colored glasses posts as possible leaning negative. Discussion is a good thing, preaching to the faithful is boring. There is a huge hill yet for this company to conquer, the slogging will be much easier if they partner.  The paper mountian they have already created, and remember, rights are not ...more

Being positive is great, of course doesn’t always relate to success. Everyone should know, and it’s shouldnt be a surprise, that this is a long process, extremely long and sometimes the only way you can truly make a great profit, potential profit, is to be what many have already said, many, many times, be patient....but, you can trade this along the way.  Now I’m feeling I can truly sleep at ...more
