He was pretty adamant on a $1 billion capital cost for the base case PEA study that was released in mid 2016. Throwing big numbers around for effect with no real math or reasonable assumptions. Trenching is the process of getting on the land and taking small - 500kg samples - of potential pits. This is the grassroots exploration that led to most of he discoveries at Childiak to date.
