my 2 cents is......SH are deserving a news update

Nice to see some healthy conversation....but as for news it would make sense to immediately answer three questions: 1-what did the talks with interested parties do---are the talks over or continuing was there any achievments 2-how do they plan to get a DMS plant and the alleged planned work that seems to always get delayed 3- wheres the money ?

i think if we were at the table making a deal and any party that knows were broke !! were not gonna get a deal that suits PGD we would always get less becuse were in a very weak position to dictate what the deal will be.

GLTA  sure hope were in for positive outcome this 2018 ! preferably this JULY
Comment by northmark on Jun 28, 2018 9:53am
Irish, it’s not about the deal that suits PGD, it’s about the deal that suits Robert. Any interested party won’t be able to play the “you’re broke” card.
Comment by mill44 on Jun 28, 2018 10:26am
But we are broke, Northmark. If PGD does not accept that, it will be hard to make a deal and the market knows it. Let's say we get the money together for the next year. Then what? Eventually one interested party will use the rights offerings to accumulate a position for a lot cheaper than any of the offers probably were and that will come out of our pockets, not Friedland's. This is either ...more

i take your point northmark but personally think :supposedly we been talking to interested parties for over a year.....most likely no deal in my mind do to the interested parties were playing your broke long before the last financing.....now we are broke! if financing happens i do feel we the SH will be the ones losing not all of us but alot......big pockets are just filling up on what we sell.... ...more

Your can't argue with Robert that the financings have not been BAD for those that participated in them. I think I am up 20% on the last two financings I participated in - although I am not selling. The company has been VERY clear over the past 5 years that they need a partner to advance the project. It almost sounds like y'all ate somehow questioning or second guessing the companies stated ...more

if I were the bros, try to think of what is in thier best interest.  Themselves, pretty simple, If no partner before Sprott conference, then IMO they will use thier 20 mins to try and pump the sp up to do another discounted rights, taking advantage of retail once again.  Sprott back stopped the last one, the bros back stopped the first one, both filled, the one they did not did not fill. ...more

The problem of going to the well too many times is the law of diminishing returns. The millions of rights dime shares is keeping a lid on this now, we have a great PEA If they can pump it up, I will be in the que to unload all I can before another rights Then I agree with cudjo, this is dead to retail.

Lucara could use better NPV and cash flow, and more diverse type of product, talks could be with them, ie. why Eira hired a VP for acquisition and development, what else would they potential be looking at ?
Comment by griefman on Jun 28, 2018 2:19pm
Some people love the chase and don’t know what to do when they have caught what they were chasing. Until there is a good darn reason for the bro’s to move this forward the way the retail SH want them to, they will just sit and wait for what they want, whatever that is...the questions are can and will and are you willing to do the same thing? Some people are explorers to the core, thus the chase, ...more

schocor, if you have only been in since the last two, your position is undestandable, the longs that have participated in all three would be break even at the very best, but most likely under.  I could care less about not being able to participate, the sp will sink to, or below the strike price, I can pick up what i want and short on the way down, dont understand your hate on  for ...more

I won't speak for Schocor but I personally didn't sense any slight towards Americans in his comments. On the contrary he stated there are few you could want more in this position of acquiring a partner. Cheers
Comment by schocor on Jun 29, 2018 10:33am
CUdjo - this board is about the stock PGD. It is not all about you, or where you live. Literally nobody cares.
Comment by vvcredit on Jun 29, 2018 11:07am
As a Canadian living in Vancouver I am a big fan of Americans including Cudjo & his contributions to this board! Also I'm getting really tired of the us vs them mentality - we are all North American so let's show some support.
Comment by cudjo on Jun 29, 2018 11:21am
thanks vvcredit, cheers, I will drink to that, think most of it comes from opinions about Trump, love him or hate him, the economy is booming here, puts people to work and smiles on their faces.  History, again doesn't matter what you think of him, will show that side of him, the rest is all really just reality TV, and lets face it, he is going to play to his audience not Canada's ...more

Or he will be remembered as the last emperor of the mighty USA. He could make it completely irrelevant.
Comment by cudjo on Jun 29, 2018 12:30pm
one man, president, does not make a nation mil, to understand how he plays, look to his past, is he narcissistic, of course, is he a politician, if he was, he wouldn't have won, problem with politics it is overwhelmed with politicians, many elites and lefties think he will be a one term prez, watch and learn, your juniormint selfie leader, IMO, has less of a chance of gaining office again ...more

I’m with you cudjo! I hate the price of cheese!

I don't know about the rest, but I like my antibiotics to come with a prescription. I prefer to know what kind of medication I am on.
Comment by vvcredit on Jun 29, 2018 2:08pm
Mill you are definitely on some kinda medication. Maybe knock that chip off your shoulder & stop blaming the Americans & Trump for everything wrong in your world - enough with the racist rants already!
Comment by mill44 on Jun 29, 2018 2:19pm
Where did I blame the americans or made a racist comment? All I said was that Trump's dealings with the rest of the world will only achieve that they will try to make the US irrelevant in world politics. And racist? That the far end of the world should not be forced to live by american standards? But why try to see what people are trying to say when you can jump on them and call them names ...more
Comment by mill44 on Jun 29, 2018 2:23pm
And if you are tired of us vs them mentality, try telling Trump that pitting yourself against everyone else will lead to that. Please note that I said Trump, not americans before you call me racist.
Comment by griefman on Jun 29, 2018 3:08pm
Almost everyone is prejudice, including me and yes, poor little Millski. There is a big difference between being a racist and having certain prejudices against people, cars, books and almost everything else. Is Mill a racist, I don’t think so, and to call someone a racist is not just some little passing comment, it’s kinda serious.  When people are being accused to an extreme, like calling ...more

I stand corrected - it was a prejudice rant & I would like to apologize to mill as well as the rest of the board for getting off track so this will be my last comment on the topic. Thanks griefman & schocor for bringing it to my attention because I was wrong - I appreciate it!
Comment by mill44 on Jun 29, 2018 4:13pm
VVcredit, I don't care much for stuff like this so it's ok. I agree with Griefman that you have the right to dislike a person, just don't generalize. You can have an opinion about me, even if it's bad. Of course I have to question your judgement then, but that's my right.
Comment by griefman on Jun 29, 2018 4:51pm
Someone show me a forum on SH or any other anonymous format, that doesn’t, at times, digress to personal attacks and a bit of in house fighting. Whether you want it to or not, it’s going to happen...enuff said?
Comment by racer-x on Jun 29, 2018 2:25pm
Friedlands will develop PGD like IVN with a few partners everyone sharing and chipping in to maximize shareholder value, although currently no one else is in except us
Comment by mill44 on Jun 29, 2018 1:31pm
I have no idea what will happen to the USA, but their world domination will be over if it's up to Trump. Look at Iran, he is alone on that, yet everyone will be forced to follow him just because they want to avoid the penalties. What do you think the reaction will be to that? A new banking system to circumvent the dollar so the US would not be able to do that in the future. People in the USA ...more
