Took some profits to buy into VIDA
Took some profits to buy into VIDAIt's been a great ride for me this last month. Been taking some profits in other plays and picked up some VIDA just now at 1.18 Am big and bullish on ISOL and see VIDA as another hemp based play that can go places that the MJ infused products can't.
I only have 1 MJ play left, EMH, that has done great for me and has allowed me to establish solid positions in TGIF, MWM and added to my NXO while still holding a good position in it.
My take is that the Canadian MJ plays are a lot of hype at this point. I expect lots of disagreement and statements like the sector has room left to grow...but at some point WEED and APH will retract and drag the sector down with them. So I may be early, but diversification into other plays and sectors makes sense to me at this point when my returns have been so stellar.
I put profits into MWM, a disruptive organic waste management firm and NXO, a company that is set to disrupt the lens industry. I also turned south to TGIF for its dominant MJ position in Nevada ...plus it has hemp
Just saying this because I see VIDA as a solid play in the hemp infused product sector. Couple sound management, solid opportunity, growing market, well capitalized company with a really low share float...and it's a great recipe for SP growth. So I am happy to be here. I've actually had my eye on it since about two weeks before the IPO
No SP predictions, (I find them useless) but here are my milestones for this stock. Note they are based on my own investment approach and discipline so I can remove as much emotion as I can from my decision AND if I go contrary to my set milestones, it will be based on an entirely new fundamental analysis.
1) I will sell if the SP goes below 95 cents to protect my downside
2) I will begin selling at $2.25 to take profits
3) I will sell by July 1 2018 if the share price goes sideways to nowhere.
I've laid this all out because I do not want to be mistaken for a pumper or basher and show you I am a serious investor who couples serious DD with a disciplined approach. It does not always work out for me, but over time, I have won more than I lost.
Except I see I am now down 6 cents a share LOL
