Filing a prospectus is very expensive. There are legal, tax, regulatory and accounting fees. It's not cheap. He does not have a salary from Phivida and his company is not going public. He has shares but no other gainful employment (to my knowledge). Is he broke? Looks like it. Heavy fees to pay? Looks like it. It appears that he can only support himself with shares. He has a lot of shares left so either way, once big things do happen, he still stands to become a very rich man off of the sweat of other peoples backs. He is no longer connected to the company. He has no way of knowing if or when something may or may not come down the pike.
