RE:RE:Peruvian press worried about lithium exploitationHi Kimmi, thanks for commenting. And yes, the local media are very good at making up stories!! Some of the innacuracies you mention, like this "lithium entangled with uranium" have already been discussed in this board, and regarding the "largest deposit in the world", Falchani surely isn't the largest right now, but I wonder if INGEMMET's estimate of 40 million tons LCE would make this statement true in the future. Also, as long as I know, both deposits are 25km apart. Regarding the political scene, I would also be very surprised if there were any successful resistance, more over given the recent "socializartion" of the project in Puno, about which I will post soon.
