MR PRESIDENT VIZCARRA AGAINST NUCLEAR WEAPONS

Last Tuesday Mr President Martin Vizcarra in his Presentation in the United Nations Forum, openly mentioned that he is against NUCLEAR WEAPONS. He said that in 2017, Peru have suscribed the United Nation Act Against Nuclear weapons to forbide the use and production of Nuclear Weapons Worldwide. He said that Peru supports the elimination of Nuclear Weapons Worldwide and such use shall not exist anymore... 

So, I am sure that President Vizcarra does not agree about exploitation of Uranium in Puno, because once is mined and commercialized/exported out of Peru there is no way Peru can control the end use of such uranium and can be used in the Army Market for Nuclear Weapons.

I really dont see this government supporting an Uranium Legal Framework, neither the Congress.

Does it make any sense why the sell off lately?

El presidente de la Repblica, Martn Vizcarra, expres ante el Consejo de Seguridad de Naciones Unidas que la posicin del Per es a favor de que la prohibicin de las armas nucleares se extienda a todos los pases.

El mandatario destac la prohibicin de armas nucleares que fue suscrita en el 2017 y dijo que, desde el Per, se aspira a que todos los pases puedan adherirse, "en especial aquellos que cuentan con arsenales nucleares" por considerar que eso no se trata de alguna utopa.
Como miembros del Consejo de Seguridad, promovemos decididamente su estricta observancia. Consideramos que garantizar la paz y la seguridad internacional implica eliminar el riesgo que las armas de destruccin masiva representan y que, para ellos, no hay mejor solucin que su no existencia", coment el jefe de Estado.

Digingdeep, I have no idea in which direction this stock is going to move in the short term, but I definitely know that if it goes down it will have nothing to do with your ridiculous logic.  I appreciate your effort though.

Vizcarra is pro-mining, pro-growth, pro-development and pro-poor people, we're lucky to have him as president. I don't think he cares too much about nuclear weapons, he just read a speech aimed at international audience.
