Serology tests developments?

As we patiently wait for news regarding their serology test , I asked myself the following question: How could they have forecasted revenue in the last quarter of last year or 1st or second of this year for that matter AND announce steps to initiate commercialization if they have yet to submit it for approval to HC or the FDA? Wouldn't it appear somewhere if it was submitted and on a waiting list? Does someone know the process involved for approval? Understanding it will make the wait a little more bearable :-)
