BMO Nesbitt Burns converted my USD incoming from RUF.UN to CAD as usual (as per the monthly distributions). There is always a bid/ask spread on forex conversions - that is how our lovely banks make some of their mega bucks. LOL! My conversion resulted in a per unit tender valuation of $9.9866. I suppose that some banks may "charge" more than others. It is really difficult to decipher this process. Also, my incoming USD total was converted on 01 OCT when the CAD was up slightly. Today the CAD is down. So screwed again! The only way around it is to have a USD account to receive USD incoming but I can't be bothered. Look at it this way - less capital gains to be taxed! LOL!
