REIT (D.UN, REI, CUF, etc.) managers would disagree and encourage people to consume as much office/retail/industrial/hotel space imaginable.
Easy money follows this 'Vancouver crew' for whatever reason. I'm betting website design is a negligible portion of GS&A.
Savings are quickly consumed in the outsized compensation executives and directors pay themselves. When your allowed to 'gift' a current/departing executive $800 000 in excess of stated compensation because they're deemed valuable - with no pushback "Whoa Nellie?"
