Do we get to vote on this merger ??

Do shareholders get a say on this merger ??  Akg shares in the 1.70`s is not a good deal, thats worth about 0.36$ a share. We still have 0.25$ a share in cash alone. Is my math wrong ?

Ehr... where do you get that number for AKG $0.36 a share in cash value?   Before this deal was announced, AKG has $180mil cash with 85mil shares O/S, that translates to $2.10 / share in cash value.   And it has been traded in that range for a while.   And then, this deal with PMV was announced and its share price has been dropping to $1.70.... Hey 00Bill, oh, reading your message again..... ah, you meant PMV is worth only $0.36 while it has $0.25 per share in cash..... Isn't that much better than AKG whose shares are worth only $1.70 while it has $2.10 in cash? . It seems both PMV and AKG retail investors do not like the deal this time also?!    Let's kill it just like last time?!   But the big fish are ...more

The deal is pmv shareholders would get 0.21 shares of akg for every pmv shares they have. When the deal was annonced akg shares were around 2.20$, that means we would get 0.46$ for our shares. But now akg shares are at 1.70$, that means we would get 0.35$ for our shares, not the same deal. Pmv has 0.23$ a share in cash, so akg is paying 0.12$ for the project. Deal looked good before akg shares ...more

Hey 00Bill, but why do you think AKG shares is now worth only $1.70 whereas it was holding strong at $2.10 before the announcement? . It's all because AKG is spending more (in terms of AKG shares) to acquire PMV's $100mil cash...., it was valuing PMV $183mil for its $100mil cash.....see link below.... Current market does not care about the gold in the ground anymore. As I said, after ...more
