My point is that the main thing said about Pure is "they have an advanced growing system". And any verticle based system certainly does produce more than a traditional single teir system, that is a given. But is it better than other competitors doing the same/similar grow method? The answer to that is no.

Phase 3 is 41k sqft, producing 8k kg/y of flower. That is 0.195 kg/sqft Pure estimates their "nasa developed technology" (I will get to that later) will produce.

Other verticle indoor grows are estimating around 0.4 - 0.5 kg/sqft of canopy. Literally double what Pure is estimating. But Pure did say that is a "conservative" estimate... so maybe that number will double?? idk.

A comparable competitor (from a grow op standpoint) would be SugarBud. Both are indoor verticle grow ops. Sugar is using Aeroponic cultivation, Pure is using Multi-Ponic (combo of hydro and aero). Pure will have 59k sqft total canopy. Sugar will have 46k sqft total canopy.

But Sugar estimates 23,200 kg of flower per year vs. the just12k per year that Pure estimates.... that is almost double the production per squar foot of canopy!! At 0.5 kg/sqft per year. The math does not lie.

PUREs grow method:
Malay keeps saying "nasa developed technology" or "nasa inspired technology" in reference to the multiponic system and verticle grow (think columns) system. "Technically" this is true... but he keeps saying it in every freaking interview. THIS IS DECADES OLD TECHNOLOGY PEOPLE. This is not some new thing that Nasa just developed last year that only PURE has. Aero and Multi have been used for over a decade in cannabis grows, especially her in the US where historically everything had to be indoors because of legal reasons.

I am not saying it is bad. Aero, Multi, Hydro; they all are the most effecient ways to grow, in that order actually. Aero is largely considered the most effecient and produces best results in cannabis. Not sure why they are using Multiponic as Aero would seem to make even more sense for their verticle colum type system (from a physics standpoint).

And anytime a CEO constantly makes references to "Nasa" or some other entity seen as cutting edge... when in fact that tech is over a decade old... well.... that is just a HUGE red flag in my opinion. He keeps saying how great the tech is, how great the expert he hired is... but he has given very little concrete info and to my knowledge, has yet to even show us any pictures of the grow operation that they say is under construction. SugarBud has shown us pics, Eve has shown us pics... do they even have an actual corporate office? All I have ever seen is a PO box...

Then there are other statements from the CEO that dont add up. He expected a surplus of flower in the market (according to interviews) in the first 2 years and that is part of the reason for buying from other LPs. But there is now a shortage of flower. So what is that doing to their margins? Idk, but it certainly is not the supply enironment he envisioned. I would love to hear him address this in a future interview or company statement.

So you see, I am not a basher. Just someone who does their due diligance and understands the ins and outs of indoor cannabis grow operations. I am just here to seek knowledge and share knowledge, good or bad.

Thanks for your answer and the link!

It is definitely nice to hear a different point of view. Personally, I have no real experience regarding inhouse growing so it is difficult to compare.

But IF you are right, I still believe their numerous high quality pharma CBD products that they will deploy globally, will give them enough margins to get nice revenues. That would bring the share price much higher than the 0,23 (!!!) CAD right now..
