Here is the reasons he gave.
1. PTQ is likely to spin out the infrastructure play PDI very soon.
2. PTQ is a 100K oz low cost producer. Usually it is valued at least 200-300 million.
3. PTQ has huge expansion opportunities. They are planning to go 200K oz in two years and all the way to 500K per year or more organically.
4.The new guy Andrew Ramcharan is well known and well respected. They are planning to raise money through non-dilusive bonds only.
