Petro Vista Energy - potential turnaround candidate
Bjarnelid 2012-05-21 11:25 Community Analysis

Petro Vista Energy Corporation (PTV.v) a Canadian public company in the upstream oil with Keith Hill as Chairman. Also known as President of Africa Oil. The company is now changing its focus and has once again become attractive as a potential turnaround candidate.

Petro Vista Energy has been hard-pressed for a long time because of disappointment over the delays.

Now, however, the company out to make a turnaround with a large rise as a result. It announces the recent press release that it has now definitely disposes of all assets in Colombia, when the project was associated with too high costs.

Instead we concentrate activities to its activities in Brazil, who also has a field that is already in production. It intends to increase its stake to 37.5% of Tartaruga field. According to recent press release will also increase production with the installation of new pumps.

The share price now is very low, with a market capitalization equal to 8M CAD or about 50msek leads certainly to a lot of interest since several interesting triggers can be seen ahead.

Consider the stock price was above 1 CAD for this company and right now only 0.03 CAD. Then you quickly realize that the potential is hissnade 3000% up. Keith Hill is not concerned with small companies of this magnitude and not likely to have bought in heavily if he saw a potential in the company.

Triggers come:

- Appointment of new CEO. With Keith Hills contacts, it will be a big name. Quite possibly someone from Lundin sphere.

- Approval of increased interest in Tartaruga field in Brazil. Getting to be a formality because you already own a large percentage and just asking for more and therefore not entirely new.

- Boost-up of production when the new pumps are in place. Will of PM to be completed this month.

Keith Hill, oil can and know how to make money. So the question is, can a company that actually produces oil with Keith Hill as Chairman only be valued at 8M CAD long?
