insights?

insights?I got burned years ago investing in biotech even though I had a good understanding of the science.  Then I made a bundle on gold stocks even though I new next to nothing about it (Gold went from 200-1800 USD/oz;  that helped!)

Now I am getting nowhere with gold and as a retired university prof am totally out of date in biotech.

So, looking for the next big tech thing and Q-computing seems to be such a thing.

QBTS made the Forbes list of 10 top companies- some of the others e.g. IBM are not pure plays on Q-computing.

On the other hand, QBTS price chart looks alarming.  Like a lot of start-ups, its burn rate vs revenue picture looks grim, no?
So, anyone with insights, positive or negative, please educate me.  Will QBTS crash, rise from ashes, get taken out, lurch along for decades like that other Vancouver darling BLDP?

I have a high risk tolerance.  My wife does the dividend investing.  Thanks.
