RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:If Newmont makes an offer on Questex will you take $1 or $3.Tony said almost the exact same thing to me on the phone prior to the PP and it completely killed my interest in participating in that financing. Who in their right mind takes a position in a company where the management starts talking about 25-50% dilution???

I like Tony, he's very sharp and made time to talk with me, but these comments were based on (in hindsight) overly optimistic expectations of how the market would receive the results we've seen since then. He seemed to think the market would be more excited and we'd see share prices go up enough that $5-7M wouldn't overly dilute. That obviously didn't happen.

The problem is, once you EXPLICITLY TELL the market about the dilution, you scare away the folks who might have driven that increase in share price! So now there's no realistically possible terms of a PP that won't be overly dilutive if you're raising that kind of money.

I like that Tony was honest about the fact that they'd need more $ to explore, but I hope he keeps the exact $ values to himself moving forward.

If they announce a $5-7M raise I will be done with this company. I will not wait for the results. I can forgive small strategic mistakes, but if they make ANY geological mistakes after doing a raise like that the management team loses all credibility and the company is doomed.
