Looks like we're probably drilling KSP this year boys.  Skeena is already drilling the heck out of their properties ... and it looks like they're hoping to capitalize from drilling on neighboring KSP.  Good to see Skeena on board.   While Newmont is still the big fish, it is good to see other deep pockets join the party.  IMO, dilution was inevitable this year ...more

I can't believe it. Not only was a totally wrong about the size and value of this deal, I actually really like it. The dilution is still a bit uncomfortable, but since there weren't options/warrants the overall dilution is pretty similar to what I was hoping for. Not only am I not done with the company, I am excited and will probably increase my position. Assuming it gets fully subscribed ...more

JF - Excellent analysis.  And, FWIW, I think the financing will be oversubscribed.  The big boys know that Questex likely has the goods - just needs drilling to confirm.  With the technical expertise know in place, together with the funding, I like Questex's odds even better. Dilution has to happen one way or another.  I like the flow through shares and no warrants.  In general I'm usually not very happy with the timing and terms of private placements, but this looks good to me.

In my previous comments here I outlined what my problems with dilution are. A raise that's about half the company's market cap could have been much worse for dilution if management hadn't lined up big strategic investors without any sweeteners. The terms of the deal are excellent.
