You sound so peurile to say that gold will outshine diamonds...be careful you could lose your stash here! The statistical 4-5 yr diamond cycle would mean that diamond miners would be in a likely boom in 2009 but thanks to 2008, the boom never came. Gold has been in the up the last 13 years. However in the 2008 debacle...it only took gold 6 months to get back to its prime...which mean that its having a shorter and swifter revival cycle, so if you are invested in gold 'now' you can be assured of 3-4x gains in 2015. Now back to diamonds, finding them didn't help RDI much either....volumes are non-existent...what does that tell you? ..these stock are catching up to the 2008 lows.... Few analysts have posted against gold, note that they make money up and on the way down. As investors you and I can continue to hope RDI will post good quarters and continue to be profitable.
