RE:Looks like shareholders are going to be approached...This has been a complete sh!tshow. Stakeholders will be offered a price to sell. I would think debt holders are likely to receive less than 50 cents on the dollar and equity holders could get a few pennies per share.
The funny thing is that the acquirer owns the majority of the debt and 20% of the equity. So they don't have much more to pay for before owning 100%. And equity holders have some leverage by being able to vote this thing down if the price isn't good enough.
But this isn't the conclusion I was looking for. Not great for shareholders. The assets are worth substantially more than the current EV.
