RE: Sharing Research
RE: Sharing ResearchExcellent...thanks Foo. I especially liked:
The Polish Oil and Gas Company POGC, a joint stock company wholly owned by State Treasury, is one of the largest Polish companies and premiere player in the market of crude oil and natural gas exploration in Poland. The company used to hold a monopoly in the area of crude oil and gas exploration and production, as well as natural gas transmission, distribution, storage and imports. Currently, POGC holds 93 concessions for oil and gas exploration covering an area of about 55,000 square kilometers. Licensed fields are located mainly in the South (Carpathian mountains) and West of the country, with some fields in the Northern regions (Polish Lowland). The recent gas discoveries were done between Poznan and Zielona Gora (Western Poland), and oil in the region of Debno Lubuskie. POGC performs also oil and gas explorations in Poland together with foreign companies under the joint venture agreements. Company uses high-class equipment and the latest research methods. POGC oil production makes more than 50% of the total Polish oil production, and gas produced by POGC constitutes 100% of the gas production in Poland.
...... POGC will retain its gas transmission pipelines and gas storage facilities, and gas distribution companies are to be offered for privatization to strategic investors (minority shares).
3rd-Country Market Presence.
( I believe these lines run adjacent to our property.)
The Polish market of oil and gas exploration is of interest to many foreign companies, as Poland is considered as a country that provides attractive oil and gas exploration and production opportunities. The country productive areas are underexplored, underdeveloped and underexploited, which creates market for well experienced Western companies. After market opening at the beginning of 1990's, many international oil and gas concerns began to explore in Poland.
