RE: RE: Am Gold vs Renget LTD
If there is a water drive with sufficient pressure in the zone, then yes, you want to be at the top of the zone.
By mentioning the need to inject Nitrogen into the formation, the first press release would imply that this is a depleted zone with some residual oil left.  In that case, you inject Nitrogen (as mentioned in the first PR) or some other agent to increase the oil mobility to allow the oil to flow under the force of GRAVITY into the casing, in which case you would need to be "down dip."

I'm still waiting for some useful substance in a PR.  If there really is PRODUCIBLE oil in the formations that REV has allegedly hit, then the information needs to be released.  Well testing in this very shallow scenario does not need to take several weeks.  That's another bunch of baloney and merely a delaying tactic that we've seen Dick Wilson use time and time again.  He's playing all of us for suckers.  Time to put out some real information about what's going on in north LA.  He's already had more than enough time to announce test results from the first well that was discussed in the first PR.

Sounds like the KX-100 scenario all over again.
