RE: RE: Concerning the PR

RE: RE: Concerning the PRThanks for the level-headed response.

It appears that we are static now pending the value that we could realise from the sale of the 28,000,000 million shares, I say that without doing any work as to whether or not that is the only way that REV could benefit but it is likely the only route. The sale of those shares would bring a one-time profit to the REV coffers and I think that it is reasonable to assume that not every penny will make it into the bucket, deals like this have leakage. But leakage or not there will be cash and the SP will rise. What worries me is that the sale of those shares may be the "end game" here. The core business of this company seems to have taken a more solid direction away from the Red Mountain property and the folks that established REV around Red Mountain aren't the only ones calling the shots anymore. What is next here? Surely we are not invested in this company for a one-time payoff that may not turn out 100% the way some people think it might. See my earlier post about Directors doing what is right for them and what they meant to do for the shareholder, what I am getting at here is: are we at the end of the road? I think the only guy who truly digs going after gold in this company is Ed and not only is he not going to last forever, exploration at Red Mountain isn't the main focus of the company now when he is involved.

If there is some thought that the Louisiana play might be an addition or something that REV can solidly add to a new oil and gas foundation I would respectfully suggest extreme caution. On shore Louisiana oil plays are analogous to what you might find on an unpaved used car lot, you want to believe that the car has a great history, with only one local owner and complete service history but it seldom turns out that way. I hope I am wrong but I doubt it.

As I said many posts back, I got involved with REV after taking the hook-line-and-sinker "they never found the source of the Klondike gold" pitch but it wasn't the pitch I believed in so much as the guys who were doin' the pitchin' and it looks like things are heading in a different direction. Too bad I guess. I have enjoyed investing in this company and almost equally I have enjoyed being part of the creative wit on this board which looks to have also taken a turn for parts unknown with the exception of tonight's offering from Cattleprod, the Uncle Ben bit was fantastic. Stuff like that will keep the "dog" off of you with the same effectiveness as an electrified perimeter collar, very funny.
