Thanks for the prompy reply, actually although they don´t yet have a construction permit, they are building the mine and I have heard that they are doing drilling and blasting, which is evident in the image posted on this blog a short while ago.
I am sure that the investigation will reveal the truth of the matter. Certainly Rio Alto has to be careful in this very sensitive area.
