re; Rio Alto Mining Is Overvalued
re; Rio Alto Mining Is OvervaluedI printed this article off and read it through.
The author's evaluation of RIO's stock price seems to be based almost entirely on the low prices for gold & copper remaining where they are for the foreseeable future..
IMHO, this is unlikely as gold is at a multi-year loa and copper is leveraged, as he notes, around economic activity.
Many fund managers see the economies, mostly so in emerging nations, to be about to expand and the US/Canada and Europe will surely follow.
It is commonly known and reported that commodities/metals are 'in the basment' but most unlikely they will remain so in the future, as homes, factories and consumer disctretionaries cannot be manufactured without copper. Gold will surely follow.
