If you are asking those type of questions after suffering heavy losses on another investment, my advice to you is save your money and invest in blue chip stocks. Buy some good US ETF's and/or Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, JNJ etc. Or some Facebook or Netflix for a bit higher risk but nothing like a junior miner. Maybe a high tech ETF.
 
I am an investor here however understand the junior mining industry which is highly risky and speculative. My investment is decent however only 1% of my total portfolio. I monitor daily however can easily live with any losses. I like this story a lot however you never know how these things go. 

If you are that worried about your investment and the risk of losing, you probably shouldnt be playing this game.
