The mint represents the most secure facility on the Australian continent. The rocks are being assayed there not because they can be. But because they need to be for security concerns.
Boulders worth in excess of ten million don’t just go to any old lab, on any old truck. There is a full armoured security division of RNX now. Heck it’s probably a bigger costs to secure the gold once out of the ground then it is to mine it.
Anyways that’s why we are back logged. We are asking the mint to do something they have never done before. This creates a challenge for both parties involved. Albeit a very welcomed challenge to have!!!
